KEEP CONTROL OF THE WORK—NOT JUST THE PAPERWORK

Use the lift-specific prestart and rigging check before picking up the load, then document changed conditions and the supervisor's authorisation. Keep the extra AB registers, checklists and toolbox talks in the company/supervisor library and print the forms relevant to each job. Where required by risk or site rules, use them at the workface.

Ask the reviewer to put specific comments in writing. AVC assesses warranted omissions or technically appropriate corrections to the purchased standard file and, where justified, revises and reissues it free of charge. Site acceptance remains the client's decision.
