PURPOSE — INDEPENDENT HOLD-POINT RELEASE
BA-H02 is an INDEPENDENT HOLD-POINT RELEASE, not a contractor's permission to start an airport electrical asset. At an operating airport, a DC-isolation or battery-system intervention can affect grid interconnections and the approved system boundary. A repair certificate alone cannot reopen a stand or energise an asset; the airport's own competent authority must assess the original hold gates and issue its release.
WHEN THIS AIRPORT FORM IS REQUIRED
Start this original at any contract STOP/HOLD point before an asset or related operating system is returned to service. Enter AIRPORT / EQUIPMENT, WORK PACKAGE / ITP, HOLD TRIGGER / TIME and AIRPORT PERMIT REF. The contractor records its acceptance evidence and any unresolved defects; the competent independent witness and separate airport custodian must act within their actual authorisations.

Eight printed acceptance gates require: (1) correct asset, work order, approved design revision and operating boundary; (2) DC arc/energisation hazard evidence; (3) battery thermal-runaway security and agreed witnesses; (4) completed grid-interface design inspection; (5) DC-isolation test result, accepted value and filed sheet; (6) all defects, temporary measures and operating restrictions; (7) independent competent witness assessment; and (8) separate airport system operator return-to-service authority.
THE PROOF, SIGN-OFF AND RELEASE BOUNDARY
Each row has GATE, ACCEPTANCE CRITERION and STATUS/EVIDENCE REF. Beneath the eight rows are NCR / UNRESOLVED DEFECTS, HOLD STATUS OPEN/CLOSED, CONTRACTOR CHECKED / DATE, INDEPENDENT WITNESS / DATE, and AIRPORT AUTHORITY RELEASE NO. / DATE. A signed contractor record is supporting evidence, never the airport operating clearance. Keep an unresolved HOLD open until appropriate acceptance and explicit airport release.
