PURPOSE — AZ-H02 AVIATION FACILITY CONTROL
AZ-H02 is the original EIGHT-GATE independent hold-point release for a hangar door or fixed-facility system affected by airport repair works. If the door can run away, strike an aircraft or create an unsafe occupied bay, completion of contractor maintenance is not sufficient authority to reopen the system. This hold record separates physical acceptance, independent witness evidence and the airport system operator's final controlled release.
WHEN TO USE THIS ACTUAL FORM
Open the form at a planned hold or before a repaired operating system is handed back. Enter AIRPORT / EQUIPMENT, WORK PACKAGE / ITP, HOLD TRIGGER / TIME and AIRPORT PERMIT REF. Check that the approved design revision, door restraint, controlled operating boundary, hangar occupancy and any temporary measures match the acceptance conditions. Keep the HOLD open where testing, independent witnesses or authority are missing.

The contractor may recommend closure, but only the correct operating custodian grants approval. An AVC form never substitutes for that external authority.
