THE ACTUAL AIRFIELD PAVEMENT CONTROL
AX-H02 is the actual EIGHT-GATE INDEPENDENT HOLD-POINT RELEASE for repaired or treated airfield pavement. Reduced friction, incorrect paint geometry or unverified surface status may make an area unsafe even when the contractor regards its work as complete. This form builds the STOP/HOLD decision trail from work order to evidence, independent witness assessment and the airport operator's actual reopening authorisation.
WHEN / WHERE TO USE THE ORIGINAL
Open at a runway, taxiway or apron work-package inspection/test plan HOLD point. Enter AIRPORT/EQUIPMENT, WORK PACKAGE/ITP, HOLD TRIGGER/TIME and AIRPORT PERMIT REF. Confirm the exact pavement section and approved closure boundary, objective surface/marking inspections and retained temporary restrictions. Do not remove closure measures or allow aircraft movements until competent independent witnesses and airport authority have completed their separate decisions.
