361 / AW-F01 — RAIL MINE TECHNICAL HOLD & WORK RELEASE
AW-F01 is AVC's original editable one-page technical hold/release record for contractor work on surface-mine sidings, rail loadout, stockyards, stackers and reclaimers. It sets five mandatory evidence gates before a work area or plant system can be released by a designated mine official.
WHY THE MINE NEEDS A FORMAL RELEASE GATE
Rail movement, live traction, unstable stockpiles and stored energy in chutes or reclaimers can coexist around contractors. Finishing the work does not mean the rail or production owner has authorised a restart. AW-F01 keeps the contractor's verification and the mine's actual release authority distinct and traceable.
THE FIVE PRINTED MINE HOLD TRIGGERS
1. Rail infrastructure authority releases track occupation and confirms the movement prohibition. 2. Stockyard traffic, rail shunting and conveyor routes remain segregated from the contractor crew. 3. Wagon loading chute, stacker/reclaimer and tripper motions are positively isolated. 4. Overhead traction, crossings and traction-return electrical risks are identified. 5. Stockpile stability, engulfment and suspended-reclaimer hazards are controlled before access.
ACTUAL EVIDENCE, VERIFICATION AND WITNESS FIELDS
Complete MINE / PIT / WORK AREA; WORK ORDER / MINE ZONE; DATE / SHIFT / PERMIT; CONTRACTOR SUPERVISOR. The five gate rows have separate HOLD TRIGGER / EVIDENCE GATE, REQUIRED EVIDENCE / VERIFICATION and RESULT / REFERENCE / WITNESS columns. Enter the relevant possession authority, segregation arrangements, electrical protection and isolation/ground-control evidence; attach host permits and witness records.
The printed RELEASE statement requires ALL gates verified, defects resolved and a valid work release recorded by the authorised mine official. Contractor supervisor and mine release authority sign independently, with DATE / RELEASE REF. Missing possession or critical evidence means the work stays on HOLD; the contractor cannot grant an operating release to itself. This is a HOLD form, not a toolbox talk or general daily checklist.
