353 / AV-TT01 — SURVEY, DRONES & AUTONOMOUS MINE SYSTEMS — CRITICAL HAZARDS AND CREW ACCOUNTABILITY

AV-TT01 is the original editable one-page Word crew-accountability toolbox talk for first access to mine survey, drone and autonomous-plant interfaces. Before the job starts, it asks every crew member to understand the six printed critical safeguards, who owns the authorised flight/operating area and when to withdraw.

WHY CREW ACCOUNTABILITY STARTS BEFORE ACCESS

An apparently empty mine survey zone may be reserved for blasting, crossed by aerial operations or controlled by an autonomous fleet geofence. Unclear approval, remote stop integrity or communication plans can expose spotters and workers to unexpected machine movements. AV-TT01 aligns the crew before they enter that operating envelope.

THE SIX ORIGINAL PRINTED WORKFACE CONTROLS

1. Obtain mine operations and security approval of the survey or UAV flight area. 2. Deconflict laser/UAV routes and the blast schedule from mine aerial/ground operations. 3. Confirm autonomous fleet zones, geofences and exclusion boundaries before access.

4. Maintain remote-control fail-safe stop and proximity-alert function during tests. 5. Protect control-network calibration and geodetic datum against accidental reset. 6. Define spotters, communication arrangements and lost-link contingency. These exact six subjects are those printed in the original critical-hazards crew briefing.

THE REAL ATTENDANCE AND MINE RELEASE REQUIREMENTS

Complete the original MINE / AREA / DATE / SHIFT and PERMIT / PRESENTER spaces. Discuss each relevant workface responsibility and changed condition; use the 16-line NAME / EMPLOYEE OR ACCESS NO. and SIGNATURE attendance table to evidence who attended. Repeat the talk when the permit, hazard, shift or mine instruction changes.

If link is lost, an autonomy geofence is uncertain, a machine activates unexpectedly or a survey anomaly appears, STOP / WITHDRAW / NOTIFY MINE CONTROL. Only the authorised mine official may release the affected zone/system for restart. This crew talk is not a substitute for mine flight approval, task risk assessment or independent operating permission.
