AIRPORT LIFTING RISK THIS ORIGINAL CONTROLS
AS-C05 is the source-original eight-control SHIFT CHANGE, VARIATION AND RESTART READINESS checklist for airside cranes, rigging and MEWPs. A work package accepted for one shift may not remain safe when aircraft stands, wind, escorts or workfront load distribution change. An operator cannot assume an earlier boom-swing boundary or outrigger inspection still satisfies the current aircraft operating window.
WHEN AND HOW TO COMPLETE IT
Complete at AIRPORT/WORK ZONE, ASSET/LOCATION, PERMIT/WORK PACKAGE and SHIFT/DATE before lifting restarts following a shift, altered weather or temporary work-method change. Confirm current aircraft and passenger movements, authorised escort, driver and radio permissions, exclusion zones, approved lift plan and physical condition of outriggers and supporting pads. STOP if crane swing conflicts with operating aircraft routes.
