301 / AS-F01 — TAILINGS & STOCKPILE TECHNICAL HOLD AND WORK RELEASE
AS-F01 is the original editable Word five-gate technical HOLD and mine work-release record for tailings perimeter, waste-rock dump and stockpile contractors. Its primary gate is the responsible geotechnical/TSF engineer's authorised work envelope and exclusion limits.
WHY THIS ENGINEERING CONTROL MATTERS
Contractor access or excavation near an embankment can affect crest/foundation stability, buried drains or controlled stormwater routes. A completed maintenance instruction does not grant TSF work release. AS-F01 requires source evidence and independent witness references for five critical engineering conditions.
FIVE SOURCE HOLD / RELEASE GATES
1. Responsible tailings/dump engineer defines exclusion and permitted work envelope. 2. Crest and foundation stability, seepage, settlement and access controlled by current plan. 3. No tipping, trenches or pipework outside engineering approval limits.
4. Weather and stormwater diversions monitored against overtopping/erosion. 5. Buried drain, decant/underdrain and instrument locations surveyed before digging.
ACTUAL EVIDENCE FIELDS, HOLD AND MINE AUTHORITY
Identify MINE / PIT / WORK AREA, WORK ORDER / MINE ZONE, DATE / SHIFT / PERMIT and CONTRACTOR SUPERVISOR.
