WHY THIS REVISED INDEX MATTERS
The AVC AB-00B Word provides a one-page trade-selection and print-only-what-applies index for airport maintenance, construction and servicing. The older document listed 21 trades AC–AW although it mentioned AC–BA. This revised edition fixes the four omitted rows so contractors can identify all 25 specialist annexures, matching the full 420-form range.
HOW TO USE THE ORIGINAL WORD
Against the actual contracted scope, select USE Y or N for each trade and enter the corresponding WORK REF. Include shared file sections A–AA and AB once, and append only the required AC–BA trade modules. Apply current airport work-zone permissions, the client's SHE requirements, suitable competent-person records and the approved task safety plan. Do not remove common statutory controls.
THE FULL RANGE OF 25 MODULES
The original selection starts with AC terminal building/tiling, AD runway/apron civil, AE airfield lighting, AF terminal electrical, AG HVAC, AH baggage conveyors, AI boarding bridges, AJ fleet, AK fire/life-safety and AL fuel. Later modules include aviation communications, security, lifts, plumbing, steelwork, heights, cranes, cleaning, stores, testing and grounds. Four restored rows: AX runway surface friction/markings; AY air cargo and ULD/cold chain; AZ hangar facilities; BA solar PV, batteries and electrical interconnection.
REAL PRINTED FIELDS AND SIGNATURES
The corrected A4 editable Word contains 25 actual rows under four printed column headings: SEC, USE, SELECTABLE TRADE MODULE and WORK REF. It also has CONTRACTOR / WORK ORDER, AIRPORT / CONTROLLED WORK ZONE, PREPARED BY / DATE and AIRPORT / CLIENT REVIEWER / DATE, plus a clear issue-file rule. The 25-row index fits on one printed page.
IMPORTANT AIRPORT PERMISSIONS
The selected trade annexures must be populated with current permits, competent-person appointments, equipment evidence, inspections and signed handback records. Only the competent airport operator, aviation authority and system owners issue access, ATC or critical-system permissions. This form is contractor file evidence, not a movement-area entry pass or an operating-area release.
CORRECTED WORD AND PACKAGE OPTIONS
This is the newly corrected 25-trade AVC editable Word at R12.95. The earlier 21-row index edition appeared in the complete Airports Checklist Package and 659-page Safety File; their copies should be checked for the updated edition.
