AS-C02 is the source-original seven-control refuge chamber shift and area readiness checklist. It begins with secured oxygen, CO2 removal, water and communications and ends with signed mine emergency-control restoration and updated muster instructions.
WHERE THIS UNDERGROUND SOURCE IS USED
Use it at new refuge-system maintenance shifts and whenever emergency protection, staffing or the work zone changes. Enter MINE / AREA / LEVEL, WORK ORDER / MINE ZONE, DATE / SHIFT / PERMIT and CONTRACTOR SUPERVISOR, citing current operator permissions.
SEVEN ACTUAL WORKFACE CHECKS
1. Life-support oxygen, CO2 removal, water and communications services secured
2. Before isolation, alternative escape/refuge capability approved for affected district
3. Self-rescuer issue, condition and training interfaces verified with mine records

HOW TO COMPLETE THE SOURCE WORD RECORD
