PURPOSE OF THIS ACTUAL AIRPORT LIFTING FORM
AS-C01 is the original EIGHT-CONTROL TASK-SPECIFIC PRESTART for airport cranes, rigging and mobile elevating platforms. A technically sound crane can still breach an aerodrome obstacle limitation, obstruct aircraft routes or expose passengers to suspended loads. The source requires airport obstacle approval, an authorised lift plan, competent operators, actual outrigger/ground capacity and weather or jet-blast controls before lifting starts.
WHEN AND HOW TO COMPLETE THE FORM
Complete before deploying equipment under the real AIRPORT/AREA, CONTRACTOR, WORK ORDER and AREA/SHIFT. Verify approved crane height and operating window, the aircraft route, public segregation, load certification, current rigging competence and supporting pads or surface. Recheck wind, night visibility and jet blast. Never position a suspended load over passengers or unprotected vehicles. The source also records removal and final workfront release.
