AR-C03 — RAIL CONDITION CHANGE & EMERGENCY PROTECTION CHECKLIST

AR-C03 is the source-original seven-item change-of-condition and emergency protection checklist for mine rail, locomotive and track contractors. Its first point requires the mine rail controller's formal track handback, then verified gauge, switch positions and test movements.

WHERE AND WHEN THIS RAIL SOURCE APPLIES

Use this after a changed track configuration, possession, turnout status, traffic instruction, work shift or other mine-controlled hazard. Record MINE / AREA / LEVEL, WORK ORDER / MINE ZONE, DATE / SHIFT / PERMIT and CONTRACTOR SUPERVISOR against actual mine instructions.

SEVEN ORIGINAL RAIL WORKFACE CHECKS

1. Mine rail controller formally hands track back to traffic

2. Clearance, gauge, switch positions and test movements verified

3. Crossings, refuges and interlocks protected during track work

4. Track tools, welding, lifting and overhead clearances appropriately controlled

5. Shunting plan, lookout and radio protocols agreed with traffic controller

6. Rail-bound vehicle brakes, couplings and passenger rules checked

7. Track gradient, rail condition and stop blocks assessed before repairs

HOW TO USE THE GENUINE PRINTED TABLE

The original seven-row WORKFACE VERIFICATION / REQUIRED CONTROL table uses Y, N, N/A and EVIDENCE / DEFECT / ACTION. Explain every NO or N/A and attach current evidence of release, tested movements, crossings, tooling, shunting, brakes and stop blocks. This checklist is never a work permit.

RAIL TRAFFIC HOLD AND MINE RELEASE

The printed HOLD clause requires stopping for missing mine clearance, isolation, emergency controls or critical workface proof and reassessment after conditions or shift change. Missing stop blocks and uncertain rail possession are never ignored.

ORIGINAL REVIEW FIELDS AND SIGNATURES

The source includes REVIEW / CLOSE-OUT AND EVIDENCE REFERENCES, contractor supervisor and host mine authority signatures where required and actual Date / release reference. A prestart tick does not open the rail corridor.

SINGLE EDITABLE WORD OR THE COMPLETE COLLECTION

This R12.95 source-original editable AR-C03 Word form is already part of the 371-document Underground Mining Checklist Package and complete 628-page Contractor H&S File. Owners of either collection should not pay twice. Current mine COPs, traffic-control permits and competent official rail release prevail.
