WHY THIS SOURCE-ORIGINAL AIRPORT STEELWORK FORM EXISTS
AQ-H01 is the genuine six-gate inspection and hold/release record for airport steelwork and welding. The source differentiates authorised structural scope, fire impairment and hot work, temporary fit-up, objective weld/NDT or bolt evidence, finished fire watch/FOD clearance and actual structure/site release. A technical welding pass does not, by itself, remove the aviation fire or operating hold.
WHEN / HOW TO COMPLETE THE ACTUAL WORKFRONT RECORD
Open an inspection hold under AIRPORT/AREA, CONTRACTOR, WORK ORDER and AREA/SHIFT before a weld, temporary support or structural system is concealed or returned to service. Check the current airport work permit and fire controls, support/fit-up acceptance, real inspection and torque records, fire watch and final FOD cleanup. Leave HOLD active until the designated reviewer approves each relevant gate.
