193 / AL-C01 — MINE CRANE AND RIGGING TEN-POINT PRE-START
AL-C01 is the original editable TEN-POINT CRANE, RIGGING AND LIFTING task-readiness/pre-start checklist for mining workzones. It covers the full controlled lift from engineer-approved study and operator competence through support conditions, exclusion, critical-lift oversight and completed load setdown.
WHY THIS ORIGINAL LIFTING CONTROL MATTERS
The largest crane on site may still be unsafe if outriggers are on weak fill, the lifting radius exceeds the approved study, the haul road is not closed or the banksman loses sight of the load. A tandem lift can introduce additional movement and oversight requirements. The ten original control points keep these different failure routes visible.
TEN SOURCE PRINTED PRE-START VERIFICATIONS
1. Lift plan and authority approved for actual mine work zone and class. 2. Current crane/hoist examination, inspection/testing and certificates. 3. Mine-approved operator, rigger, banksman and signal competence. 4. Ground bearing, outriggers, pit edge and buried services assessed. 5. Separate overhead lines, conveyors, stockpiles, buildings and haulage.
6. Load weight, centre of gravity, lift points, radius and rigging capacity verified. 7. Wind, lightning, visibility and stop limits briefed. 8. Suspended-load exclusion/drop zone and communication defined. 9. Engineered critical/tandem-lift procedure and competent oversight. 10. Final load landing, support and lifting equipment clearout recorded.
ACTUAL EDITABLE SOURCE FIELDS AND RELEASE
TEN authentic RELEASE / VERIFICATION POINTS with YES / NO / N/A and EVIDENCE / ACTION; NOT the seven-row reassessment. Mine/site, Area/zone, Work order/activity, Contractor/company, Date/shift and Supervisor identify the lift. Tandem/critical lift oversight is separate from load capacity and final setdown, with CONTRACTOR CHECK and MINE/HOST RELEASE signatures plus DATE / REFERENCE.
Mark N/A with evidence and refer any critical failed item to the responsible mine official. Printed RELEASE RULE requires applicable high-risk and operator-owned holds released BEFORE starting; completing the pre-start form does not substitute for mine transport permission or engineered lifting approval.
BUY THIS SINGLE OR THE COMPLETE MINE COLLECTION?
This identical original purchaser-licensed editable Word DOCX is ALREADY INCLUDED in the 386-document Surface Mining Checklist Package and in the full Surface Mining Contractor Health and Safety File. Buyers of the larger collections receive this same specialist lifting control with other mining management and trade documents, without purchasing the Single a second time. Host mine lifting and dispatch authority remains controlling.
