It places restricted goods acceptance first, then prevents uncontrolled progression through forklifts, segregation, stock issue and disposal handback.
WHY THIS MINE DELIVERY AND STORAGE CONTROL MATTERS
A delivery might be correctly invoiced but unsafe to accept when the SDS is missing, the forklift must cross a haul road or corrosives are placed beside incompatible substances. Returning a critical spare or chemical to service also needs a traceable acceptance record. The mine's receiving authority must verify each stage.
